Sinks for extremely small Powder Rooms
Small, versatile sinks are a must for very small powder rooms. We show you several sinks that maximize these small spaces and pass the test with flying colors. They also make quite a statement.
Many home owners try to make a statement in their powder room with bold colors, expensive vessel sinks and faucets, etc. This relatively straight forward with most powder rooms (Usually they are 4 to 5 feet long and 36-37 inches long).
When you have a very small powder room the sink has t do double duty. As you by the photos, the shapes of these sinks can really enhance the space and still be very functional. The corner sink below illustrates this perfectly.
Tiny powder rooms can be as small as 31 inches wide and about 58 inches long. Just wide enough to meet the plumbing code for the toilet. With the toilet toward the back of the room, the only place for a sink is toward the front. You also need space for a door that swings out. So the biggest challenge is getting in the space. That means the sink has to go inthe corner or on the wall opposite the toilet.

Sinks with Different Shapes
While visiting Porcelanosa's Showroomn Rockville Maryland we found some sinks that caught our eye. They come in a variety of shapes, are small and are multipurpose too.
All of these sinks are attractive and all come with a built in towel bar. This eliminates the need for a separate towel bar on the wall where space is limited.
The sink above is shaped like an inverted L. The lower part actually hides the drain pipe.
None of the sinks requires a vanity so this actually maximizes the space. The drawbacks of these sinks are that you don't have storage provided by a vanity. However, keep in mind, that a small basket kept below the sink can easily provide storage for toilet paper.
We were in a rush when we photographed these sinks and don't have their names at this time. However, they are unmistakable and you can show these pictures to the staff at any Porcelanosa Showroom.
Good luck with your powder room project.
